Nigerian singer Ayra Starr appears to have sealed a major international deal, as her name and discography are now featured on Roc Nation’s official website.

The development comes weeks after Roc Nation congratulated the singer on winning her first BET Award, which many saw as an early sign of collaboration. Four days ago, Ayra Starr also teased her upcoming single, Hot Body, which is expected to drop under Roc Nation’s management.

Ayra Starr remains one of the leading artists under one of the biggest music labels in Africa, Mavin Records.

Her move to Roc Nation is expected to be a distribution deal like that of top stars such as Megan Thee Stallion who is also under the same outfit.

The deal is expected to support her global expansion, particularly in the U.S. and European markets, while also opening doors for high-profile collaborations, strategic branding, and wider industry reach.

Ayra Starr now joins a roster of Nigerian music heavyweights who have partnered with Roc Nation, including Tiwa Savage in 2016, Wizkid in 2016, and Burna Boy in 2017.
