Minutes after an Ariana Grande concert ends at the Manchester Arena in England, a suicide bomber detonates a device, killing 22 and injuring at least 60 others in an act of terrorism.

The bomber is 22-year-old Salman Abedi, a Manchester resident with family in Libya. Grande suspended her Dangerous Woman tour and put together the One Love Manchester benefit concert, held a few miles from the Arena, which raised over $3 million with performances by Coldplay, Kety Perry, and several other stars. The tour resumes in Paris on June 7. “We will never be able to understand why events like this took place because it is not in our nature, which is why we shouldn’t recoil – Ariana Grande.
