Rod Wave Arrested in Atlanta, Faces 13 Charges

American rapper Rod Wave, whose real name is Rodarius Marcell Green, was briefly arrested in Atlanta on Monday over an incident that happened on April 21.

The 25-year-old is facing 13 serious charges, including aggravated assault, having a gun during a crime, pointing a gun at someone, damaging property, and reckless behavior, according to court documents. He was released the same day after posting bail.

While police haven’t shared full details, rumors online suggest the case might involve his girlfriend, Mini Barbie (also known as Nari). Some unconfirmed posts claim he may have shot at her or her car, but police haven’t confirmed this.

Rod Wave has had past legal issues. In 2022, he was arrested for battery in a domestic case, but the charge was dropped. In 2024, he was arrested in Florida on a gun charge, which was also dismissed.
